Research: During the past 10 years Assoc. prof. Belova has focused on studying the changes in autonomic regulation of the cardiovascular system in individuals with a family history of hypertension and obesity.
Participation in and leadership of 31 projects funded by the Ministry of Education.
Membership: Expert in the Committee of Biology, National Research Council, Ministry of Education, Executive Board of the Bulgarian Society of Physiological Sciences; Board of the Bulgarian Hypertension League
Publications: Co-author of 2 textbooks, 1 guide for practical exercises and 2 textbooks in Physiology. Publications in national and foreign journals and more than 400 citations, numerous participations at international and national congresses.
